Inquiries from various parts of the state to the Port land committee indicate a real Interest in the movement. The afternoon and evening of the first day will be given to the presentation of different phases of community church work by men who are not only interested ln the movernerit, but wh0- from expert . . . er.ce, are quauiiea to spea.it. The second day will be in the form of a round table conference, where "an effort will be made to get a better un derstanding of the problems with the view of establishing a more coopera tive program. Special Meetings The midwinter evangelistic meetings In progress at the Apostolic Faith mis sion. Front and Burnside streets, are a grand success, according to the mem bers. The hall is crowded to the doors ' Many people are attending from out-of-town points. A testimony and Bible teacning meeting is held each day at 2 :30 p. m. A 32-piece orchestra and dauble quartet lead the singing at the night meetings. Tonight the ordinances of the mission will be administered to the congregation as given in John 13. after which a watchnight service will be held. Services will be held Sunday at 11 a. m., 2:30 and 7:30 p. m. BIBLE CLASSES CONTINUE Enthusiasm has marked the opening of the Portland Union Bible classes, after the vacation. Dr. B. B. Sutcliffe again will be the teacher and will conduct the Sunday school hour each Tuesday eve ning at 7 :15 in the White Temple. At the close of this hour he will begin the study of the Gospel by Matthew. On Wednesday afternoon the class in the Westminster Presbyterian church will begin at 2! o'clock.
